Ironsides APT provides a software product to track individual pieces across multiple production lines and processes, simultaneously. For example, using APT machine vision tools that are bolted onto existing equipment, APT will track pages being printed on InfoPrint, Xerox, OCE, etc. industrial CF, cut sheet and ink jet printers. All printing is tracked as it happens, in real time across all these printers. Further, APT will track these printed pages as they move into finishing and mailing machines – again, simultaneously. No files need to be moved, nor must one process complete before the next process in sequence begins. So finishing can start as soon as some printing is available to process, and so forth through mailing. Equipment utilization and efficiency is maximized because machines can run in tandem simultaneously, rather than in sequence waiting for work to complete before the next process can begin.

Our Multiple Line Reconciliation system gathers piece level data from readers employed at each device, and feeds this data back to our APT server. Then, in real time we compare this piece level data against your index file of total number of pieces within the job and reconcile the identity of each piece, across every device to which the job has been split. Because we do not need to batch files and then assign them to a particular device like an inserter, our data based reconciliation system is far more dynamic to your needs, more effective and secure, and much faster by design.
