Single Device Upgrade

Production efficiency and integrity starts with the upgrade to legacy finishing and mailing/inserting equipment which have little or no intelligence. By adding APT on these devices, our clients reduce their capital expenditure in new equipment while running current generation, high integrity jobs on their legacy devices.

  • Upgrade old OMR inserters to File Based Intelligent inserters
  • Upgrade to postal manifesting to eliminate analog postage meters and eliminate the cost of digital meters.

APT can also be useful for single device integrity verification by accepting data from existing cameras or reading systems:

  • Automated reconciliation of finished pieces at an inserter, printer and booklet maker
  • Automated fulfillment reconciliation and creation of reprint file
